An off-duty New Hampshire cop Tasered an off-duty Massachusetts cop and was charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon.
This man has likely used the same Taser numerous times previously and not charged with the same crime. The same man does the same action with the same device, but not charged when on-duty. How does a costume and a badge absolve all culpability when causing harm to another individual?

Police Taser an Emu
Do you think the bird will be charged with “resisting arrest” or “obstruction of justice”, which is simply a fancy way of describing the “disobedience of a police officer”.

Police Acted "Properly" Says Panel of ... other Police
COLUMBIA [MO] — An internal investigation by the Columbia Police Department has found no wrongdoing by two officers who used pepper spray and a Taser on Columbia resident Carl Alan Giles, 27, during his Aug. 1 arrest outside the Cafe Berlin.
Giles was arrested that night in an alley south of Cafe Berlin at 21 N. Providence Road on suspicion of public urination and resisting arrest.
Imagine that - a police "internal investigation" determined that fellow police officers acted "properly". Behold, the thin blue line.

Taser = Torture
Here is a great article by Digby about the ever more common use of the Taser. The sheeple, of course, don't see anything wrong with this, but they also don't see anything wrong with torture.
